CCBF & The Sesquicentennial
The Cedar Creek Battlefield Foundation is observing the 150th anniversary of the Civil War by hosting numerous events and reenactments at our Hupp’s Hill site and the Cedar Creek battlefield.
Some of the premiere events leading up to Cedar Creek 150 will be the 2012 observances of the Battles of Cross Keys and Port Republic during Stonewall Jackson’s 1862 Valley Campaign in June, as well as the 150th Second Battle of Manassas/Bull Run in August. We are also planning living history events at Hupp’s Hill to give the public a closer look at Civil War history and offer the opportunity to interact with soldiers of the period.
For details on any of these events, call us at 540.465.5884 or click here to e-mail us. |
